Sometime in the next few days, Yaroslav Fammus will join us from fellow Uzbeks Navarone Cycling Team for an astronomical fee of 350k. This is a very unusual move for us, as it beats our previous most expensive transfer by 50k, for an untrained rider no less. However, it seems right.
A 210 CL/DH+ Uzbek talent just has to be in our team, I have waited forever for an Uzbek to become a good downhiller. When wronskian told me about him, I knew right away I would go for it, but back then I feared that I would have to sell some major riders of the team, most notably Cesario Sabatino. While in the end we had to sell club veteran Mugur Cruceru, Cesario could luckily stay in the team for now, mostly through his own stellar performance in the Copa de los Andes.
In any case, I hope Yaroslav will at least somewhat reach his potential. While it is a slightly risky transfer, I feel like it is in line with the somewhat astonishing growth our team is experiencing this season. More on that at the season review!

I know! Sometimes shit just happens
yeah, sorry about that, but really wasn't in my control - he was raced with >85 DP, so it was plain bad luck.
best of luck with his training!
Ah ok, didn‘t notice that.
He was already injured when he was transferred
:-)
And :-( - first race first injury?
Thanks all! I’ll make sure to sacrifice a couple of jobbers in the name of Elias Marquez and Hagen Franz
Good luck !
Don't forget to pay your high-max bribes!
Oh wow, what a talent! Good luck, that‘s all you need! ;-)
Yeah, we have nobody for the TT anyway
Congrats and good luck with training. Already raced for the national team? :)
